This morning at Milford Sound, New Zealand.

I arrived yesterday and it was storming hard, but I trusted the weather forecast and booked a cruise for the next day anyway.  It turned out to be a pretty good call -  this is one of the wettest regions in the world, and you couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather.

The edge of Australia.

Today I enjoyed some of Australia’s best beaches and tried not to think about all the Thanksgiving food I’m missing.  If you’re in America, please enjoy an extra helping of stuffing for me.  Cheers from Down Under.

I arrived in Australia (Perth) this morning, and was greeted by one of the most spectacular sunrises I’ve ever seen.  Obviously a sign that this was the right decision.
